Library Elf

What is Library ELF?

Elf is an Internet-based tool for keeping track of what's due, overdue and ready for pickup. Users can keep track of their library account in one place and receive reminders (sometimes called pre-overdue or early notification). Reminders are sent when the user wants it -- before items are due (up to seven days advance notice, weekly notice or everyday reminders). You can receive the reminders via email or text message.

How do I sign up?

  1. First, you must have a password entered in our system here at the Seward Memorial Library. If you don't remember this password, aren't sure if you have one, or would like to change or add one - please call the library at 643-3318.

  2. Next, visit www.libraryelf.com and click on the "Sign Up" button.

  3. You will be asked for your name, email address and to make up a password (this can be different from the password in step #1).

  4. Select the Seward Memorial Library from the list of libraries, enter your library card number and your library card PIN (this is your password from step #1).
