This book is being written from the prospective of a young man named Axel. His uncle the Proressor Lidenbrock finds a book written by a prince in runes, and wants to prove that the canter of the earth is not molten rock. Professor Lidenbrock then desides to journay to the center of the earth and takes Axel with him. Axle is in love with Gräuben, the prof.'s ward, but the prof. won't let them get married. This book tells of the strange and exciting adventures that Axle the Prof. and their guide have on their journay. I wont tell u the ending and spoil the surprise so you'll havta read it yourselves! Jules Verne also has written 'Around the World in 80 days', and 'Twenty-thousand leages under the sea', both of which are very good. I recommend this book for ages 10 and up.
