This book is about a girl named jessie who lives in the frontier village of Clifton, Indiana, in 1840- or so she thinks. when the children of the village start dying of diptheria, jessie's mother reveals that it is accually 1996, and thay live in a reconstructed village that serves as a tourist site. in the real world, medicine existes to cure this terrible disease, but jessie is in for a shock about the would outside the village and she soon finds her life in danger. wil she be able to save the children of the village? or will she fail? read it and find out!!
